My name is Magda.
I did my nursing training in Barcelona and in January 2009 I came over to England to learn the language and try to find a job.
I found a job in Bristol, in a ward that specialises on Stroke care, the place where I am currently working.
Although my English was good enough to get the job, I did struggle with some of the medical terminology when I started working. I wish I had known of a course like EfN to help me get familiar with the medical language and also provide the resources that can help improve your English in a clinical environment.
