Sabine Torgler, director of English for Nurses, continues her monthly podcast series with a brand new episode! The podcast series deals with a variety of topics surrounding nursing, overseas nursing, and other important issues in the world of nursing today. Each episode will be available to listen to exclusively via our website. We hope to make the series available through other channels in the future.
In the fourth episode, Sabine talks about her emotions as the UK finally emerges from a long lockdown and shops, pubs and restaurants begin to reopen. Sabine looks at how the UK has eventually succeeded in managing the COVID-19 outbreak after suffering so badly and making plenty of mistakes along the way. The sun is shining, Sabine’s ward is free of COVID-19, and there are lots of reasons to be optimistic. It’s only 4 weeks until International Nurses’ Day, and what an important celebration it will be after all the hardships of the previous year.
